| | | [ O V E R ] T H I N K I N G ? | | | ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ My thoughts as they flow through my mind @ 11:11pm— ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ As each day goes by I’m trying to figure out my purpose; my niche; my goal for this space. Sometimes I feel it’ll come to me as I spend my time working on content or writing a list of to-do’s. Other times I think maybe I need time away from it completely to just focus on the why. Then in another second I think I know my path already, duh. And then there are the moments I feel like maybe I’m just wasting time on a unattainable dream when I should just focus on being a good mom and continue my day job. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So… what should I do? Who should I talk to? What should I talk about? What questions should I ask? Will someone else have the answers? What if they don’t? When do I stop, give in, give up? What do I really want? What is success? It’s a question that’s seemingly harder to answer than I thought… ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ What I know is that I have a vision; an idea I want to bring to life but I just don’t know where to start. It’s risky and I’m not a risk taker hence the hesitation to dive in. But I’ve also heard change doesn’t happen while in your comfort zone // “ you gotta move different if you want different” or “nothing changes if nothing changes”. Knowing this I still hesitate— if I’m going to do it, it needs to be perfect. Every detail has to be perfect. But how can it be? Even when something seems perfect now, tomorrow there will be something that could have made it better. So when do I know it’s ready? Will it ever be ready? Will it ever be the right time? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Yes. The answer is yes. You can do this. You got this. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ — Thoughts of a Mom trying to be an Entrepreneur in the middle of the night when she should be sleeping because she’ll be a zombie tomorrow while subconsciously still thinking about all of these same thoughts // repeat 🥸 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ———————————— ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Can anyone relate?
| | | B I R T H D A Y | | | ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ With each passing year I realize that birthdays mean something very different than they used to. When we’re kids it’s about the party, the cake and the presents. When we’re teens it’s about the cool activity and the friends that attend. When we’re in our 20’s it’s about the outfit and the fancy venue. When we’re in our 30’s it becomes more about spending quality time with those you love and nothing else really matters. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I’m grateful for another birthday; another year of life; and most of all, being blessed with more time. Time which is the one thing you can’t buy, make, store, reverse, fast-forward, or stop. Time is our most precious commodity and we need to use it more wisely. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So all that to say, on this birthday I wish for a life— long or short— full of more happiness than sadness, more good times than hard times, and much more love than hate.
