I am lucky to have had the opportunity to work with an amazing company by the name of Little & Lively. They were generous enough to outfit our little family in the most amazing quality garments for the Spring/Summer 2020 season.

For Jason & I, I chose pieces that were timeless neutrals that could become closet staples. For him, a flattering bronze crewneck tee and for me, a simple black t-shirt dress. For Mila, I chose a beautiful bronze cardigan paired with a stylish graphic tee. And for Charlie, a matching knotted headband and tee paired with the sweetest black bubble overalls— definitely my fave!

All the items we chose are made from an amazing fabric which is a combination of rayon from bamboo, cotton and spandex. It is the perfect material for our sensitive skin and you can definitely feel the quality in each piece.

I also love the fact that all the fabrics are acquired ethically from a knitting mill in China. And although most of us like to hear the words “ethically sourced” we may not know what that means exactly. In the case of Little & Lively this means they have taken the time and put in the effort of making sure their overseas supplier is operating in an ethical manner. This includes: no use of child labour, paying fair wages and benefits, setting appropriate working hours & maintaining good labour practices. You can read more about their company’s transparency here.

And of course, I can’t fail to mention that Little & Lively is a small local business based out of Abbotsford and I love supporting a small business in any way I can. We will definitely be purchasing more from Little & Lively very soon. And I’d like to thank them for their kindness and generosity.
