Let’s be real for a minute..
Life gets tough. Everyone is going through something. Relationship, career, and/or finance issues, #momguilt, #wifeguilt, #justguilt and the list goes on… You can either add to someone’s crappy day or you can be the light they need to get through it.
It takes one kind gesture, one minute of your time, one smile to help a person take their mind off their current anxieties— even if just for a few moments.
It’s all about perspective.
When I’m having a particularly off day I start with a few minutes of silent meditation & deep breathing— helps clear the mind of unnecessary negativity. After that I think of 3 things I am grateful for— there in lies the ‘perspective’. And lastly, I make my bed— a tidy room = a tidy soul [that last one might just be me though].
So the next time you are about to take out your frustrations on another person think for a moment— is it about them or is it about you? Take a deep breath and reset. You will get through this.
